The Second and Final Rounds: The Second and Final Rounds:
1. Topics for the Second Round: You can prepare your 2-3 minutes speech according to the topics below. However, when in the competition, the topic will be randomly selected for you by an online programme, so you will not know what topic you will get, but you will have 3 minutes for preparation before delivering your speech (2-3 minutes):

  • Gender Equality
  • King’s Philosophy
  • Moral Dilemma
  • Stress Problems and Solutions
  • Education Opportunities for All

The highest ten scorers from the 30 contestants will advance to the final round.

You are responsible for providing one-minute talk to best answer that question. 2.     (Out of the box thinking, conviction, conciseness, etc.)
  • Delivery 20 marks
    (Body language, presentation, etc.)
  • Speech organisation 10 marks
    (Idea organization, introduction and conclusion, etc.)
  • Voice 10 marks
    (Speak clearly, not read, etc.)
  • Question-Response 10 marks
    (for the Final round)

  • Winner: 7,000 Baht with Trophy, plaque, and certificate
  • First Runner-Up: 5,000 Baht with plaque and certificate
  • Second Runner-Up: 3,000 Baht with plaque and certificate
  • 2 Consolation: Prizes 2,000 Baht with certificate (1,000 Baht each)
  • Appreciation: Certificate (For all the contestants)

  • Dress code: You have to wear your university’s dress code for the competition
  • Presentation: You will have to turn on your camera throughout the competition, so please make sure that your camera works, your internet connection is stable, your microphone is clear enough, etc.

  • Regarding the increase of coronavirus pandemic, the organiser decides to hold an online competition on the 18th of January 2022 at 8 am – 1 pm.
  • The contestants and their advisor will join the event via the Zoom cloud meeting (Meeting ID and passcode has already sent to their email). However, it is fine if their advisor will be unable to join the Zoom meeting.
  • Other audience or the public who are interested in the competition and would like to watch it can join this via our live streaming on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/INTER.BSRU/ The Facebook live streaming will start at 8.45 am.

  • The contestants and their advisor will join the event via the Zoom cloud meeting (Meeting ID and passcode has already sent to their email). However, it is fine if their advisor will be unable to join the Zoom meeting.
